Hi everyone, so this is my 2nd day of working from home/home-schooling but today we've added to the mix, my husband working from home too! first challenge of the day... We only have one laptop! Hence me starting work today at 6pm (on the plus side I do have a glass of prosecco which isn't usually allowed in the office). Today I have completed another PE with Joe which I feel is slowly killing me off! I'm now unable to sit down or bend without a very loud OOOOUUUFFF, but I'm assured its good for me so (if I can move) I will endeavour to do it again tomorrow! Following this, the kids had pancakes for breakfast, (I opted for a healthy omelette) before face-timing friends to compare notes on schoolwork (and a whole load of other things!!). We then continued the schooling theme with a maths-based garden hunt, some reading and writing. We later embarked on an epic cake-making session which we filmed for your viewing pleasure! the cakes were then delivered around to Nana's house via the garden wall (all are well there). From Nana's we started our nature walk where we saw lots of interesting things (mummy had to speed this a long a little or else we'd still be there now) including nesting coots, mysterious blue water, big fish and fluffy reeds. We met other walkers but managed to keep our distance (Chloe shouting 'aahhh people! Stay 2m away' probably helped!). We got back home, kids had a play in the garden while we listened to Boris, then they invented a new game (which was actually quite good). Reflection of the day: I think its actually doing them good spending time together with no pressure, just kids being kids spending tome with mummy & daddy. Now they're in the bath washing their muddy feet (thanks to flip flop walk) after which it will be PJ's and bed, ready for more adventures tomorrow (If I can move, thank to Joe Wicks!) stay safe everyone xxx

It was another early morning and lovely to hear the birdsong from sunrise. Not an official day at work as such for me, but we are all continuing to stay in touch, through messaging and phone calls, as much as we can. It's lovely to hear that our visitors are appreciating the telephone calls, and it's been heartwarming to know that the contact is valued and making such a difference! We are making our way through our contact lists, so bear with us if you are still waiting for us to contact you.
Please see our email addresses below; we are encouraging you to remain in contact via email and please provide us with your details if we don't have them! If you would like a telephone call - we are really happy to be in touch and we are enjoying speaking to you and supporting each other as much as possible!

A special thank you to Paula Smith. Paula teaches at our Health & Wellbeing Support Thursday classes.
Please let us know how you get on with this as Paula would appreciate all feedback. Please contact Kathleen if you would like more information regarding the sessions.
Some great photos of the staff team today! A homeschooling timetable, a fun outdoor trampoline afternoon, Julie enjoying an early walk with the dog and Amanda discussing tasks with Charlotte! Other photos I'll add here tomorrow! I was very impressed with Becci and her delicious healthy snack boxes... and Sue setting the children some gardening tasks. If you would like to be included we would love to hear from you! We are missing seeing all our visitors and volunteers, so we'd love to see your photographs and updates too!!
