Hi Everyone, This morning I was up exceptionally early in an attempt to get on the laptop before my husband and get some work done, this worked wonders and I thought I was even going to get out of PE! Hubby came down at 8.45am wearing his PE kit and trainers, this was indeed looking very positive! ... Until he had to take a very cleverly timed conference call at 9am!!! so of course I donned my trainers (still in my PJ's) to support S in her morning workout. By the time we had finished, Derry's had delivered my plants as promised and we spent the morning potting up the patio tubs (I say we, I was on my own as kids were busy face-timing friends). After lunch we went out for our daily stroll, today we went around the block again looking for more rainbows, on our first trip we counted a measly 4, but today we were up to 11, a much better effort! This evening we have got our glad rags on ready for the pub quiz! We have a lovely little local with a fully stocked bar and pub snacks (the kitchen!) So we are linking up with Neil's family to do a pub music quiz, we each think of 20 questions and each couple gets a score out of 40 (3 couples obviously!) My music knowledge is pretty dire so I don't have high expectations, but will let you know tomorrow! I found myself with a little extra time to get ready so I thought I would have a go with liquid eyeliner which is a skill I have never had the time to perfect if your thinking of trying it I suggest ... don't! leave it to makeup artists and those who have the time and inclination to watch endless amounts of you tube videos, I ended up redoing all my make up as I had black streaks everywhere!! Have a great weekend everyone, stay safe xx

Since we have all been told to stay at home and stay safe to help the NHS , l was really worried about this as a man who suffers from mental health , but is on the road to recovery l was afraid that this might set me back , but with having friends who have had to self lsolate for 14 days l have been to the shops to get them food and essentials to help them, leaving the items in a safe place for them and for me. I think helping others in need as also helped me with my mental health to help me stay positive, to be strong . Ive also cleaned my home from top to bottom, along with making some more lucky pegs, and today lve mowed the lawn which is abit of achievement as its quite big, you may think these are quite simple tasks but when you have anxiety just getting up out of bed and having a wash can take some doing so be kind to anyone who is going through an Mental Health anxiety journey , they may look alright but could be paddling like a duck underneath , and whats going off now in the world could make things not so good for them. As part of my daily exercise lve been out on my push bike for the last few days, the other day l had a bike ride from Whitwick up to the Monastary , the sun was out, the birds were singing but what l did notice was how clear the air was and how fresh everything smelled. In doing this little bit of exercise bike riding or even a little 20min walk l know how much it helps with my mental health. So take care everyone and stay safe , and with all whats going on at the moment , its still a beautiful world.
